Lenovo "Splice" Battery

Just got a Lenovo " Splice Battery, the 27++, for the Lenovo ThinkPad W510, and it's increased my laptop's autonomy to over 6 hours. If you have a netbook you will be thinking that's not much, but let me tell you that, in a machine with a Quad-Core i7 processor and a 15.6" Full HD screen, it is
a real accomplishment.

This battery attaches to the bottom of the laptop, adding a few more millimetres to it's thickness in the back and a little over a pound in weight, but it is definitely worth it. The only down to it is the fact you can't use this battery and the docking station at the same time, so you need to charge the laptop off the dock before you remove the battery and attach the laptop to the dock, or get the external battery charger and charge the battery detached from the computer. If only the charger wasn't so expensive!
